Information in the app
Chess Master does not require an account and does not send games, lesson progress or settings to our servers. Saved games, lesson completion, app-launch counts, language, sound, haptic and theme preferences are stored locally on your device. This version contains no advertising SDK, analytics SDK or behavioural tracking.
Purchases and speech
Apple processes the optional non-consumable purchase and provides signed StoreKit transaction information so the app can verify access. We do not receive payment-card details. Spoken lesson guidance uses Apple's system speech synthesis. The app does not record your voice or request microphone access.
Retention and deletion
Local records remain until you clear local data in Settings or remove the app. System backups may include app data according to your device settings. We cannot remotely access or delete information that exists only on your device. Apple separately maintains purchase records.
Support and website
If you email support, we receive your address and anything you choose to include. We use it only to respond, resolve support or privacy issues, and meet applicable obligations. Please do not send sensitive information. Our hosting and network providers may process technical request data such as IP address and browser information to deliver and secure this website. This site has no advertising or analytics cookies.
Children
The app is designed for beginners of different ages and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. Purchases are placed behind an adult-oriented arithmetic gate. A parent or guardian can contact us if they believe a child has sent personal information through support email.
Your rights and changes
Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning information we actually hold. Email us to make an applicable request. We will update this policy if our practices change and revise the effective date.
